It also features a 6" slide, rosewood grips, aluminum trigger, bobbed hammer, and thumb magazine release. Its heavy duty steel frame and 24LPI checked mainspring housing make this 1911 a truly rugged and trustworthy handgun. With this 6" long slide version of the 1911, Kimber has branched out of its normal operations.
