The MINI FIX Pistol is a compact version of Q LLC’s acclaimed FIX Rifle and serves as an excellent candidate for conversion into a Short Barreled Rifle (SBR). More than just a modified Remington 700, the MINI FIX transforms into a versatile "utility rifle" with the addition of a stock, making it suitable for hunting, precision rifle shooting (PRS), and tactical applications.
Built around a lightweight, monolithic, one-piece aluminum receiver for exceptional rigidity, the MINI FIX differs from traditional chassis rifles by having its bolt lock into the barrel, akin to AR platforms. This design enables user-level barrel and caliber changes without a gunsmith. The modular structure also allows swapping of components such as the stock, bolt, and handguard. Maintenance and part replacement are streamlined with the exclusive use of T-25 screws, making disassembly straightforward with a single tool.
Additional features include an innovative bolt design with a 45° throw, roughly half the distance of a Remington 700 bolt, facilitating quick cycling, easy weapon clearing, and faster follow-up shots. The bolt handle also provides clearance for most riflescope ocular bells. The MINI FIX is further equipped with a precise two-stage trigger, ensuring exceptional accuracy.
