This AR-15 Scope Mount is part of the Geissele® SOPMOD Certified Series, designed for use by elite military and counter-terrorism units within the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). The SOPMOD program enables Special Operations forces to customize their weapons to meet individual needs and mission specifications. Crafted from a single 4.5-pound billet of aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminum, these optic mounts are precision-machined for unmatched durability. The scope caps are individually serialized and line-bored in one seamless process to guarantee a perfect fit with the optic body. Utilizing the time-tested nut and clamp system, Geissele® mounts generate 1,400 pounds of clamping force per nut—three times more than typical lever systems. Additionally, precision-machined shear lugs secure the optic to the receiver, ensuring stability during recoil. The mount spans eight Picatinny sections for a secure and reliable attachment.
