The Glock 36 offers advanced grip ergonomics, thanks to its single-stack magazine design, which results in a slimmer frame and narrower slide. Combined with a secure-grip design and a short trigger-to-grip distance, this makes the pistol exceptionally easy to handle. It features Glock’s Safe Action System, delivering a consistent trigger pull from the first shot to the last. Three independently operating mechanical safeties are integrated into the pistol’s fire control system. These safeties disengage sequentially as the trigger is pulled and automatically re-engage when the trigger is released. Additionally, the extractor doubles as a loaded chamber indicator, providing both a visual and tactile confirmation of a round in the chamber—helping to meet legal requirements in certain states.
