LMT Defense Lower Receiver: The LMT® Modular Ambidextrous Rifle System (MARS®) lower receiver offers ambidextrous controls to include: selector, magazine release and bolt catch and release. An enhanced flared magazine well and ambidextrous magazine and bolt catch mechanisms are machined directly into the receiver and have been designed to function as ergonomically as possible.
This lower receiver is designed with several unique LMT® features to further enhance its durability and versatility. These features are: Two-stage trigger group, winter trigger guard, ergo grip, QD endplate, and SOPMOD buttstock.
Geissele Automatics Trigger: Built on the chassis of the Geissele SSA®, the Super Semi-Automatic Enhanced (SSA-E®) provides enhanced trigger control and weapon accuracy while maintaining the robustness and reliability of Geissele’s combat-proven two-stage trigger. The SSA-E® with it's reduced first and second stage pull weights result in a trigger with a smooth, light first stage take-up and a crisp, candy cane-like second stage break. The SSA-E® is ideal for use in precision Squad Designated Marksman type rifles where weapon accuracy and reliability are critical and a non-adjustable drop in trigger is desired.
Please note, our triggers are designed for mil-spec AR15/M4 carbine rifles. Our AR15 triggers are not compatible with the Sig MPX/MCX weapons or Pistol Caliber Carbine AR15/M4 variants.
