Description

Upper Receiver: The patented LMT monolithic rail platform (MRP) upper receiver, has a receiver and handguard that are made from a single piece of aerospace grade aluminum. The barrel is held in place with a proprietary locking system that utilizes two locking bolts accessible from the right side of the receiver. The only tool needed is a standard T-30 Torx bit to tighten the bolts. This receiver requires the patented LMT monolithic barrel assembly which has a low-profile gas block with straight gas tube.

The “Shovelnose” MRP upper was designed specifically for shooters who need more room for mounting accessories when using LMT piston barrels.  The upper features a larger internal diameter allowing for the installation and removal of any LMT barrel without removing MLOK add-ons.

Lower Receiver: The LMT Modular Ambidextrous Rifle System (MARS) M7SL lower receiver offers ambidextrous controls to include the safety selector, magazine release and bolt catch and release. The enhanced flared magazine well and ambidextrous magazine and bolt catch mechanisms are machined directly into the receiver and have been designed to function as ergonomically as possible.

The stripped variant ships with all proprietary controls already installed.
