New Features: 

Advanced Coating: The new polyurea coating provides stronger protection from the elements and increases the life span for your ballistic plate. Polyurea does not provide a ballistic advantage over condura or nylon covers but does help to further mitigate spalling, increase plate durability, increase the ease of cleaning, and improves the overall cost benefit for your body armor.

Spall Guard: This new level 4 utilizes front and rear aramid sheets to not only reduce spalling, but to also improve multi hit capabilities and decrease back face deformation.

Increased Ceramic Strike face: The ceramic strike face coverage is increased by .25″ on each side compared to the 5.7lbs level 4. For 100% ceramic strike face, please purchase the M4+ or Ridgeback M4+.

These incredible standalone 10X12 Level IV ballistic plates from Guard Dog Body Armor are Level IV, multi-hit, and NIJ .06 tested. These individual plates are functionally lightweight and 1″ thick, which makes them more comfortable for the wearer! These plates also feature a shooter cut that enables the wearer to have better range of motion for the arms and allows for more accessible firearms handling and a more natural shouldering position when firing.
