The patented MRP-L M-LOK® 9.25″ “GRENADIER” upper receiver is a carbine length receiver designed for both piston and DI use, compatible with 10.5″ to 16″ barrels. The Grenadier upper has M-LOK attachment points, with short picatinny sections at the 3 and 9 o’clock, as well as integrated QD sockets on the aft end of the handguard. At 6 o’clock is a full picatinny rail, allowing the use of any rail mounted LMT launcher and 1913 picatinny accessories.
The receiver and handguard are made from a single piece of forged aerospace aluminum. The barrel is held in place with a proprietary locking system that utilizes two bolts accessible from the right side of the receiver. The only tool needed is a standard T-30 Torx bit to tighten the bolts. This receiver requires the patented LMT monolithic barrel assembly which has a low-profile gas block with straight gas tube.
