Bergara - B-14 Hunter 6.5 Creedmoor 22" Bolt Action Rifle - B14S102C

The Bergara B-14 Hunter in 6.5 Creedmoor (B14S102C) is a dependable deer and elk rifle that shoots well above its price. Bergara made its name building barrels, and the Hunter combines one of those barrels with the smooth two-lug B-14 action and a trigger that breaks cleanly at about 3 lbs.

The 6.5 Creedmoor is a good fit for this rifle: it has mild recoil, plenty of factory ammo choices and enough energy for most North American big game at sensible ranges. The 22" barrel keeps the rifle easy to carry in the field. The synthetic stock has molded-in pillar bedding for a consistent zero and a SoftTouch coating that stays grippy in wet or cold weather. The receiver is drilled and tapped for Remington 700-style bases, so mounting a scope is simple.
