The Forward Controls Design Sling Adapter End Plate — Black DLC (ESF-H Black DLC) is FCD's enhanced QD sling socket end plate for AR-15/M16 carbine lower receivers, finished in Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating for maximum hardness, corrosion resistance, and a sleek, ultra-flat black appearance. The ESF (End Plate, Sling, Forward Controls) integrates a QD sling socket directly into the end plate for a secure, solid sling attachment at the rear of the lower receiver. DLC is one of the hardest coatings available for firearm components — providing superior wear resistance compared to standard anodize or phosphate finishes. An ideal end plate for duty, military, or high-use AR-15 builds.
