The Forward Controls Design Sling Adapter End Plate — FDE (ESF-H FDE) is FCD's enhanced QD sling socket end plate for AR-15/M16 carbine lower receivers, finished in FDE (Flat Dark Earth) for use with coyote, tan, or FDE configured rifles. The ESF (End plate, Sling, Forward Controls) replaces the factory end plate with a steel piece that integrates a QD sling socket directly into the end plate — providing a secure, solid sling attachment at the rear of the lower receiver. The H variant features a single QD socket. The FDE finish uses a high-quality Cerakote or comparable coating for long-lasting color and corrosion protection that matches FDE/coyote-colored receivers and stocks.
