The Heckler & Koch MR556 A4 5.56 NATO 11” SBR — Black (HK PN: 81001048) is H&K’s MR556 A4 variant in Short-Barreled Rifle (SBR) configuration with an 11” barrel, bringing the HK416 A4 military configuration to civilian NFA-registered shooters. The MR556 uses HK’s proprietary short-stroke gas piston operating system and rotary bolt — the same proven system in the HK416 used by special operations forces worldwide, including U.S. special forces and USMC. The A4 variant features HK’s key HK416 components including the 4-position adjustable gas system, cold hammer-forged barrel, HK’s corrosion-resistant surface treatment, and the HK-proprietary bolt carrier group (BCG). Includes a 30-round magazine. Made in Germany by Heckler & Koch GmbH (H&K), Oberndorf am Neckar.

The HK MR556 A4 SBR features ambidextrous controls, a collapsible/folding stock compatible with HK-pattern stocks, and a Picatinny/MIL-STD-1913 top rail for optic mounting. The 11” barrel in 5.56x45mm NATO is optimized for suppressor use and close-quarters environments. This is an NFA Title II restricted firearm.
