The LMT Defense .308 Piston Bolt Carrier Group (R-LM308DPS) is the large-frame 7.62x51mm NATO piston BCG designed for LMT's MRP-H piston-operated AR-10/MWS platform. Built with the same materials and design principles as LMT's acclaimed 5.56mm piston carrier, this .308 piston bolt carrier group provides the reliability and durability that has earned LMT military contracts worldwide — including selection by the Estonian Defence Forces. The piston operating system reduces heat transfer to the receiver, carbon fouling in the action, and increases reliability in adverse conditions compared to traditional direct impingement systems.
