The LMT Defense 16" Chrome Lined 5.56mm MRP Barrel Assembly (L7PA1B) is engineered specifically for LMT's Monolithic Rail Platform (MRP) upper receivers. This 16-inch, 5.56×45 (.223) barrel features a 1:7" right-hand rifling twist, low-profile gas block, mid-length straight gas tube, and A2 birdcage flash hider. Every barrel is chrome lined for corrosion resistance and extended service life, then coated and cryogenically treated for maximum long-term durability. The mid-length gas system provides reduced felt recoil and smoother cycling compared to carbine-length configurations.
