The LMT Defense 16" .308 Lightweight Chrome Lined Piston Barrel (R-LM308B116PS) is LMT's 7.62x51mm NATO piston-operated MRP-H barrel assembly, combining a lightweight chrome-lined bore with LMT's proven short-stroke piston operating system for enhanced reliability in adverse conditions. Designed to fit all LMT MRP-H (heavy/AR-10) upper receiver chassis, this barrel ships complete with the piston gas block, piston rod, A2 flash hider, and 2-position piston plug. The chrome lining protects the bore from corrosion and wear, extending barrel life significantly in sustained fire situations — a key reason LMT's piston systems are trusted by military units worldwide.
