The LMT Defense MARS-HS Shovelnose 7.62 NATO SBR 13.5" (MLKMWS13PS-MARS-EU) is LMT's most compact .308 battle rifle — a short-barreled, piston-operated 7.62x51mm SBR built around LMT's iconic Shovelnose M-LOK upper receiver and MARS-H ambidextrous lower receiver. The 13.5" chrome-lined, piston-operated barrel delivers full 7.62x51mm NATO power in an ultra-compact platform, operating reliably both suppressed and unsuppressed thanks to the full-auto short-stroke piston BCG with ambidextrous charging handle. The MRP-H Shovelnose upper receiver is milled from a single solid piece of aerospace aluminum, providing the only true monolithic rail platform available — delivering maximum rigidity, accuracy, and rapid barrel-change capability unique to LMT's MRP system.
