LMT Defense MARS-L Shovelnose 5.56 NATO SBR 12" MLSN12PS-MARS-PS
LMT DefenseThe LMT Defense MARS-L Shovelnose 5.56 NATO Piston SBR 12" (MLSN12PS-MARS-PS) is one of LMT's flagship short-barreled rifles, combining the iconic Shovelnose M-LOK upper receiver with LMT's proven short-stroke gas piston operating system and the ambidextrous MARS-L lower. The 12" piston barrel features a two-position adjustable gas system for reliability both suppressed and unsuppressed, while the 11.5" Shovelnose M-LOK handguard provides ample rail estate for accessories. LMT's patented Monolithic Rail Platform (MRP) features an upper receiver and handguard milled from a single solid piece of aerospace-grade aluminum forging — the only true monolithic rail platform on the market. The barrel locks in place with two locking bolts engaging the barrel extension 360 degrees for exceptional accuracy and heat dissipation, with tool-free barrel changes that return to zero.
