The LMT Defense MRP-L M-LOK 11.5" AR15 Upper Receiver (L7ZN2A) features the patented LMT Monolithic Rail Platform (MRP™) — the upper receiver and handguard are machined from a single piece of forged aerospace-grade aluminum, eliminating flex and providing an unrivaled platform for accessories and optics. The "Shovelnose" was designed specifically for piston system users who need more room for mounting accessories. Its larger internal diameter allows installation and removal of any LMT barrel without removing M-LOK accessories — a major advantage for shooters who swap barrels frequently. Compatible with 5.56×45, .300 Blackout, and 350 Legend.
The LMT MRP barrel swap system uses a proprietary two-bolt locking mechanism accessible from the right side of the receiver. A standard T-30 Torx bit is the only tool required — enabling fast, no-armorer barrel changes in the field. This receiver requires LMT monolithic barrel assemblies with low-profile gas blocks and straight gas tubes. Barrel not included.
