The LMT Defense MRP-L M-LOK 11.5" AR15 Upper Receiver (L7Z1A) features the patented LMT Monolithic Rail Platform (MRP™) — the upper receiver and handguard are machined from a single piece of forged aerospace-grade aluminum, eliminating flex and providing an unrivaled platform for accessories and optics. The "Specwar" upper was designed in partnership with America's most specialized warfighters, optimized for 12" or longer barrels. Features M-LOK attachment points, no built-in QD swivels for a slimmer profile, and a single-point QD location in the aft section. Prioritizes rigid accessory mounting for laser aiming devices and NVG-compatible illumination — essential for night operations.

The LMT MRP barrel swap system uses a proprietary two-bolt locking mechanism accessible from the right side of the receiver. A standard T-30 Torx bit is the only tool required — enabling fast, no-armorer barrel changes in the field. This receiver requires LMT monolithic barrel assemblies with low-profile gas blocks and straight gas tubes. Barrel not included.
