The SureFire WARCOMP 5.56 Closed Tine Flash Hider/Suppressor Adapter — 1/2x28 (WARCOMP-556-CTN-1/2-28) is SureFire's closed-tine variant of the WARCOMP for 5.56mm rifles. The "CTN" (Closed Tine) design eliminates the open-tine profile that can snag on vegetation and equipment while still providing effective flash suppression. Functions as both a highly effective flash hider and the Fast-Attach® interface for SureFire SOCOM suppressors. A preferred configuration for operators working in brush or dense vegetation where snagging on open tines is a concern.
