The SureFire WARCOMP 5.56 Flash Hider/Suppressor Adapter (WARCOMP-556-1/2-28) is SureFire's flagship muzzle device for AR-platform 5.56mm rifles. It functions simultaneously as a highly effective closed-tine flash hider and the mounting interface for SureFire SOCOM Series suppressors — letting you suppress in seconds without a tool change.

Unlike open-tine designs, the WARCOMP features a closed tine (CTN) birdcage-style design that eliminates the batwing effect common with A2-style flash hiders, while the neutral porting reduces muzzle movement without introducing the muzzle flip associated with ported muzzle brakes. The unit ships with wrench flats for easy installation and is constructed from heat-treated stainless steel for durability under sustained fire.

The WARCOMP mounts SureFire's SOCOM Series suppressors using the Fast-Attach® mounting system — the same system trusted by U.S. Special Operations Forces. It is also compatible with the SureFire WARDEN Direct Thread Blast Regulator for suppressed use in confined spaces. The compact 2.33-inch, 4.24 oz profile fits standard rifle handguards without requiring free-floating rails. Pin-and-weld installation is supported for SBR compliance.
