The VLTOR RE-A5 7-Position A5 Receiver Extension is the buffer tube component of VLTOR's innovative A5 system, designed for use with VLTOR's A5 buffer and spring for improved cycling characteristics on AR-15 carbines. The 7-position design provides additional length-of-pull adjustment range compared to standard 6-position carbine tubes, while the A5 system's longer buffer travel allows heavier buffers to reduce bolt carrier velocity significantly. Machined from 7075 aluminum with Type III hard anodize finish for maximum durability. The A5 system is highly recommended for suppressed ARs, rifles with carbine-length gas systems, and pistol-caliber conversions.
