The Forward Controls Design AR Enhanced Magazine Release Button (EMR-H) is FCD's heavy-profile enhanced magazine release button for AR-15/M16-pattern lower receivers. The EMR-H (Enhanced Magazine Release, Heavy) features an oversized, extended button profile that provides a significantly larger engagement surface than the factory mil-spec magazine release — enabling faster, more positive magazine changes in combat and duty environments. The extended profile allows engagement with a broader range of techniques, especially useful when using gloves or when a full grip shift isn't possible. Available in serrated or dimpled texture variants. Machined from billet aluminum, hard coat anodized, and a direct drop-in replacement for the standard AR-15 magazine release button.
Available in multiple textures. For left-handed or ambidextrous magazine release configurations, pair with FCD's ABC/R bolt catch for a complete enhanced control upgrade.
