The Forward Controls Design 0.750" Gas Journal Low-Profile Gas Block (GBF) is FCD's precision-machined low-profile gas block for AR-15/M16 barrels with a standard 0.750" gas journal diameter. The GBF (Gas Block, Forward Controls) is machined to extremely tight tolerances from 4140 billet steel and finished in black nitride for excellent corrosion resistance and hardness. The low-profile design clears any free-float handguard with ease, and the setscrew retention pattern ensures secure barrel retention without any wobble. The GBF is dimensioned to align perfectly with the barrel's gas port for reliable gas delivery with any barrel length and gas system.
