The Forward Controls Design Low Snag Forward Assist — Dimpled (LSFA-AA) is FCD's most minimalist forward assist design for AR-15/M16 upper receivers. The LSFA (Low Snag Forward Assist, Forward Controls) takes the low-drag concept further than the LDFA by creating an even more recessed, nearly flush profile — the ultimate in snag elimination for operators who work in tight spaces, work with kit, or simply prefer the cleanest possible upper receiver profile. The all-around dimpled (AA) texture provides excellent tactile feedback for positive engagement when needed. Drop-in replacement, no modification required.
