The Forward Controls Design Low Drag Forward Assist — Dimpled (LDFA-AA) is FCD's low-profile forward assist for AR-15/M16 upper receivers, featuring FCD's all-around dimpled texture pattern. Like the standard LDFA, the LDFA-AA dramatically reduces the protruding profile of the standard AR-15 forward assist to minimize snag potential, while the dimpled texture provides excellent non-slip tactile feedback even in wet or gloved conditions. Machined from billet aluminum, Type III hard coat anodized, and a direct drop-in replacement for any standard AR-15 forward assist.
