The Forward Controls Design Sotar Cam Pin — NP3 Finish (SCP-NP3) is FCD's premium replacement bolt carrier group cam pin for AR-15/M16 platforms, finished in Robar's NP3 electroless nickel-PTFE coating. The Sotar Cam Pin is precision machined from the appropriate steel alloy and coated in NP3 — a self-lubricating composite coating that dramatically reduces friction between the cam pin and bolt carrier key during cycling, improving reliability and reducing wear on both the cam pin and carrier key. The NP3 coating is also extremely corrosion-resistant and easy to clean, making it an excellent upgrade for duty or high-volume range rifles. The SCP is a direct drop-in replacement for the standard AR-15 BCG cam pin.
