Forward Controls Design - Secure Staking BCG - SBCG

The Forward Controls Design Secure Staking Bolt Carrier Group (SBCG) is FCD's premium enhanced bolt carrier group for AR-15/M16 5.56 NATO platforms. The SBCG (Secure-staking BCG, Forward Controls) addresses a common reliability concern with standard BCGs: carrier key staking. Mil-spec calls for proper gas key staking to prevent the key screws from backing out under firing, but many commercially produced BCGs ship with inadequate staking. FCD's SBCG uses proper 8620 steel for the carrier, Carpenter 158 bolt, and features FCD's proprietary secure-staking process on the gas key — ensuring the carrier key screws are permanently and reliably staked. All bolt components are magnetic particle inspected (MPI) and high-pressure tested (HPT) to mil-spec standards.
